Deadline: Ongoing
BudgIT is building a community of active citizens called Community Champions. These champions work closely with our Project Tracking Officers to lead the advocacy for improved service delivery in their states and communities.
As a community champion, you get to take ownership of projects in your locality, identify key needs in your state, engage residents in your community, sensitise and encourage people to monitor projects, and write articles on topical issues in your state/country.
If you are young and passionate about good governance and effective service delivery in Nigeria, we need you! This is a chance to be a part of the change that your community needs.
They are kickstarting with registered volunteers in Ekiti, Abia, Ebonyi, Oyo, and Enugu states, but this application is open to everyone from all the 36 Nigerian states.
Benefits:
Here’s the interesting part. 6 months of active participation earns you points, a Certificate of Volunteering, Souvenirs and other worthwhile incentives.
