Prometheus Fellowship Program for Students For Liberty’s top Student Volunteers 2022, Funded (Washington DC)

Prometheus Fellowship Program for Students For Liberty’s top Student Volunteers 2022, Funded (Washington DC)

Deadline:March 15, 2022

Students For Liberty, with funding from Prometheus Foundation, launches fellowship to equip students with the best education and mentorship to launch their careers.
The Prometheus Fellowship Program is a once-in-a-lifetime, multi-year fellowship opportunity for the top 50 students in SFL; it follows SFL’s formula of combining education, training, and empowerment with mentorship.

The goal of the Prometheus Fellowship Program is to provide exceptional students with the philosophical and practical education necessary to have a dramatic impact in their professional and personal lives and thereby change the world.

Students will study Ayn Rand’s philosophy, Objectivism, alongside other texts related to personal and professional development.

Benefits:

The heart of the fellowship is a twice-yearly seminar that will provide the most extensive and intensive opportunity to develop practical leadership skills as well as delve deeply into Objectivism and its real world application.

These in-person discussions in the USA will be the intellectual experiences of a lifetime.

The premise that drives this fellowship is that society will be most free when ideas of liberty are central to driving the daily personal and professional lives of the greatest number of people, and that will happen when highly respected leaders in each field model that behavior.

The Fellowship will identify the most promising talent within Students For Liberty’s worldwide network and provide support for fellows beyond their studies and into their professional lives. Selected fellows will be provided with a multi-year fellowship that includes:

  • Regularly scheduled rational philosophy sessions led by expert faculty.
  • 1:1 mentorship with world-class industry leaders.
  • A stipend of $500 per semester for professional development.
  • Guidance in choosing graduate study or their critical first job placement.
  • Educational experiences designed to maximize the ultimate knowledge and effectiveness of each individual in the program.
  • Face-to-face trainings.
  • Global recognition as SFL’s top coordinators.

Timeline:

  • We will accept applications for the Fellowship from February 2 through March 15, 2022. The application requires a resumé and an essay.
  • The Selection Committee will interview top applicants by April 1, 2022.
  • Selected fellows will receive a notification by April 15, 2022
