Facebook and Afrinolly introduce the Naija Storybuilders Bootcamp, a week-long intensive workshop for up and coming storytellers who are developing short-form content for digital platforms. Led by Dayna Lynne North and Amy Aniobi, writer/producers from the hit HBO series INSECURE, the program will run in Lagos for 20 select participants.

Selected participants will also receive further support to build on their projects after the Bootcamp with three-weeks of free office space and mentorship from Afrinolly’s team of screenwriters.
BOOTCAMP DETAILS
Topics covered during the workshop will include:
- Finding your voice as a short-form storyteller
- Creating compelling characters
- Grabbing and keeping your audience
- First steps in creating your project
- Best practices on how to create and promote content on Facebook and Instagram
CRITERIA:
- Must have a script or piece of content that you are in the process of developing
- Must be based in Nigeria
- Must be 18 years or above
WHAT TO SUBMIT:
- 3-5 page script or one-page treatment as a writing sample
- A one-paragraph description of the project that you want to focus on during and after the workshop
- Your CV and/or Bio
