The Paradigm Initiative Digital Rights and Digital Inclusion Media Fellowship 2018 seeks to embed media professionals within the daily work of Paradigm Initiative in the fields of digital rights and digital inclusion in Africa.
We announce the Inaugural edition of Paradigm Initiative Digital Rights and Digital Inclusion Media Fellowship 2018 which seeks to embed media professionals within the daily work of Paradigm Initiative in the fields of digital rights and digital inclusion in Africa. Holding from August – December 2018, Media Fellows will work out of our offices in Yaba, Ajegunle Lagos; Aba, Abuja and Kano in Nigeria; and Yaounde in Cameroon. Only one fellow will be selected for the first phase, and this call is open to Journalists working in Africa.
This fellowship seeks to expose media professionals to an underreported field of work in national development and hopes to increase reporting on digital rights and inclusion in Nigeria and beyond. Selected media professionals must be available to work in any of our offices within the stipulated fellowship period.
Paradigm Initiative is a social enterprise that builds an ICT-enabled support system and advocates digital rights in order to improve livelihoods for under-served youth. Across our offices in Nigeria (Aba, Abuja, Ajegunle, Kano, Yaba), Cameroon, and beyond, as part of a pan-African expansion plan, we work to connect under-served youth with improved livelihoods through our digital inclusion and digital rights programs.
