The International Press Centre (IPC) invites entries from print, online and broadcast journalists in the South-South, South-West and South-East to participate in a capacity building program under its Media in Health Care Accountability Project.
The project is supported by the US Consulate-General, Lagos-Nigeria, to help produce the next generation of Nigerian investigative health reporters.
Eligibility:
- Interested journalists (reporters, line editors and editors) who should be between the age range of 25-45 years are required fill the following questionnaire, which however does not guarantee automatic participation as selection will be based on critical evaluation of the responses.
- Only the selected journalists will be contacted, but IPC will establish a data base of all applicants for information sharing on any other training/fellowship opportunities and media development issues.
Selection Criteria:
- Participants shall be selected based on predefined indicators, including proven track record in health reporting, evidence of commitments from statement of participation, as well as fair and equitable distribution across the states, gender balance, among others.
