Internship Programs at Salzburg Global Seminar (Partially Funded)

Internship Programs at Salzburg Global Seminar

Deadline: October 20, 2017

Venue: Austria

Salzburg Global is now accepting applications for 2018 internships.

Salzburg Global Seminar is an independent non-profit organization founded in 1947 to challenge present and future leaders to solve issues of global concern. We are a strategic convener and cross-generation, cross-sector bridge builder. We work with the world’s leading public and private organizations and philanthropic investors to accelerate breakthrough thinking and collaboration on complex and emerging challenges. Leveraging our network of 25,000 Salzburg Global Fellows in 160 countries, we identify young change-makers, encourage their development, and connect their efforts to take solutions to scale.

Schloss Leopoldskron – a 300-year old palace once home of Max Reinhardt, founder of the Salzburg Festival – provides an inspiring space for openness in support of our problem-solving mission.
Salzburg Global thrives by empowering people to have significant impact in the world. This means understanding context, developing insight, exploring and defining opportunities, setting strategy, creating tangible goals and business opportunities, and above all, translating vision into action and results. If you are hungry to put your classroom learnings to work, think of Salzburg Global as your opportunity to gain real world knowledge and skills.

Interns are selected from across the world in a highly competitive process. While undergraduates who have completed at least three years of accredited study may apply, preference is given to recent college graduates or to those in early stage graduate studies whose interests and skills align well with the programs and challenges receiving priority attention in Salzburg and Washington. Salzburg Global makes every effort to select a diverse group of interns and to align their general and specific assignments to maximize both the learning experience interns receive and the contribution they are able to make.
Salzburg Global Seminar offers a number of three-month internship programs (non-accredited), which give interns the opportunity to not only enhance their skills and knowledge, but also access this impressive network of Salzburg Global Fellows.
