UK-Nigeria Tech Hub just launched our Developer Placement programme- a digital upskill initiative for software developers and SMEs in Nigeria. DevPlacement is an initiative of the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub in partnership with Nigeria’s leading software engineering institute, Decagon. With the pilot phase set to kick off in 2021, it aims to bridge the gap between developers & SMEs.

Benefits:

3-MONTHS PAID INTERNSHIP: This programme is a 3-month paid internship programme that seeks to provide a great opportunity for software developers across Nigeria to upskill themselves and gain industry experience. In partnership with Nigeria’s leading software engineering institute- Decagon, we aim to provide this opportunity to 100 software developers in Nigeria who will be placed with shortlisted SMEs(in Nigeria) selected for the programme who are in need of digital talents to develop and scale their existing social-impact products or projects.

Eligibilities:

FOR DEVELOPERS
All software engineers that intends to apply for the program must have graduated from a recognised software engineering institute in Nigeria.

FOR SMEs

To be eligible, you should have a social-impact project or product that needs developers to either scale or improve on existing features. You must also have a senior engineer on your dev team.
