The CoalitionWILD Ambassador Program is a rigorous 9-month leadership development program offered at no charge. At the completion of each yearly session, participants of the program have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to develop, organize, and facilitate personal action projects in their communities – generating real, on-the-ground change. Each cohort gains access to an online database of resources, toolkits, and best practices to guide participants on their learning journey. Over the course of the program, monthly webinars are offered and recorded on a host of topics delivered by VIP Guest Speakers giving firsthand knowledge and expertise. In addition, each CoalitionWILD Ambassador is paired with a peer mentor for the course of the program, who acts as a support, advocate, advisor, and new connection.
The CoalitionWILD 2019 Ambassador Program runs 13 June 2019 – 28 February 2020. You must be 35 years of age or younger on 1 June 2019 to apply. You will receive a response from program organizers regarding your application by 25 May 2019. Please do not inquire about your application prior to that date.
Lack of resources, isolation, and burn out should never be a reason for failure – especially for youth who envision a better planet and who have the ambition to make it a reality.
CoalitionWILD Ambassadors are guided through an intensive 9-month capacity building program to facilitate their leadership growth and expand their practical skills, culminating with a requirement for each Ambassador to implement a passion-driven initiative of their own design and development. Participants that complete the requirements of the program will receive an official Certificate of Completion.
By the end of the program, Ambassadors will have the know-how – as well as the encouragement and support – to effectively:
- Envision a solution to a challenge they are passionate about
- Develop an action plan, strategy, and timeline for carrying out that vision
- Communicate their project to others
