Deadline: 29th April 2019 at 9:00am UK Time

Chatham House is pleased to invite applications for the Robert Bosch Stiftung Academy Fellowship (Central & Eastern Europe and Africa) in the Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs. The fellowship is for a 10-month term from mid-September 2019 to late-July 2020.

Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, is a world-renowned independent policy institute. Based in London, our mission is to help build a sustainably secure, prosperous and just world. The Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs was formally launched by the patron of Chatham House, Her Majesty The Queen, on 18 November 2014. It offers potential leaders from around the world the opportunity to get involved and contribute to the work which Chatham House does.

Academy fellowships provide emerging leaders at the mid-point of their careers with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge, publish, speak at events, expand their personal networks, and further develop an understanding of critical issues in international affairs, which will enable them to contribute to positive change in their home countries and broader region. Fellows join a diverse cohort of professionals from a variety of sectors including academia, NGOs, business, government or the media who are looking for the next step or transition in their career.

Chatham House is pleased to invite applicants for the Robert Bosch Stiftung Academy Fellowship (Central & Eastern Europe and Africa) in the Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs.

To apply for our 2019-20 Academy Fellowships, we ask that you propose a research project. During the fellowship, the fellow will conduct a research project of their own design which falls within the research topic below.

Transition experiences and developments in relations between Central and Eastern Europe and sub-Saharan Africa.
